Period Style
Sometimes it’s the sympathetic use of tiles which can most easily evoke nostalgia for a particular period in a design scheme. This may be the boldness of colour from the 70’s, the sinuous forms of Art Nouveau, a garish 50’s bar, stark Art Deco or simply a hotel bathroom in timeless Paris. Sometimes this is referred to as ‘retro’design. |
